TEGNet es un juego de tácticas y estrategias de guerra basado en el conocido juego de mesa TEG. Respecto a este último, presenta dos grandes innovaciones:
1- La capacidad de permitir que distintas personas conectadas a una red de computadoras puedan jugar una partida, sin importar donde se encuentren, eliminando así las restricciones espaciales de la versión clásica.
2- La posibilidad de enfrentarse contra jugadores virtuales simulados por la computadora.
